Nature Organizations Globally

A Philosophical Inquiry Into Their Vision on Eugenics

On June 27, 2024 the founder of 🦋 GMODebate.org started a philosophical inquiry by Cold Calling tens of thousands of nature organizations globally (one by one) with an email to ask them three questions about their vision on eugenics.

The responses and the subsequent deep philosophical conversations have been professionally processed with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and the results are made visible on this platform.

Is The GMO Debate Over?

In 2021 several science organizations declared that the GMO debate is over and that anti-GMO activism faded away (About). The science organizations seemed to be right and many anti-GMO activism initiatives were abandoned, which leads to the question Why?.

We discovered that nature protection organizations more generally have been Silent when it concerns eugenics and GMO and our 2024 philosophical inquiry into the deeper vision with people at tens of thousands of organizations globally confirms that most organizations have kept GMO off their agenda, again raising the question Why?

This platform seeks to unlock deeper insights for the public through the use of artificial intelligence.

Why?

We investigated the question Why with philosophical theory on morality and the fundamental nature of existence.

Our philosophical theory indicated that the reason why anti-GMO activism faded away more generally, might be a fundamental intellectual impossibility that we named The Wittgensteinian Silence Problem.

The Wittgensteinian Silence Problem makes it fundamentally impossibile to enclose moral aspects in language, with as a result, that leaders of organizations cannot envision an end or moral direction for meaningful impact and results, causing them to keep eugenics and GMO off their agenda.

If a man were to inquire of Nature the reason of her creative activity, and if she were willing to give ear and answer, she would say—Ask me not, but understand in silence, even as I am silent and am not wont to speak.

With The Wittgensteinian Silence Problem theory in the background, and with our knowledge of how it relates to leadership theory in practice, we started our philosophical inquiry and the first results indicate that most organizations have indeed decided to keep eugenics off their agenda, despite that some leaders of organizations did openly communicate to have the moral intuition that eugenics is wrong.

This platform intends to enable visitors to continue the GMO debate by initiating a conversation with nature and animal protection organizations, to give the organizations a motivation to think more deeply about the subject and to contribute to an online philosophical knowledge base of moral concerns about GMO to advance the GMO debate and to help protect animals and Nature from the effects of anthropocentric modification.

💡 Tip: Seek to converse with the organizations that you like. Ask them about their vision on GMO and if they refused to answer in our philosophical inquiry, keep pressing them to break The Wittgensteinian Silence.
