StopGMO - Swiss Alliance for agriculture without genetic engineering
└ StopOGM - Alliance suisse pour une agriculture sans génie génétique
StopOGM - Swiss Alliance for Agriculture without Genetic Engineering - was formed in 1998 as part of the Swiss Working Group on Genetic Engineering (SAG), based in Zürich.
StopOGM is the coordination structure of organizations based in French-speaking Switzerland, defending either or at the same time the interests of consumers, producers, developing countries, animals and the environment. The association is part of a national and international network of organizations that all take a critical look at the development of agriculture and food, in particular. StopOGM carries out critical and independent work on the development and impacts of genetic engineering on agriculture, livestock, the environment and health. This work is entirely funded by membership dues and donations.
