Natuurpunt (Nature Point)

Natuurpunt

Nature Point is an independent voluntary association with more than 133,000 members. We protect vulnerable and endangered nature in Flanders.

Nature Point manages more than 26,000 hectares of Flemish nature in 500 different nature areas. The volunteers take the initiative: they take care of the purchase, management and opening up of nature areas. They are assisted by professional teams.

With a strong network of hiking trails, hides, benches, play forests and visitor centers, we give everyone the chance to enjoy nature. Departments and working groups are active in every Flemish municipality. Nature Point brings people together. Every year we organize thousands of activities: guided walks, management works, courses and workshops.

We keep an eye on the health of Flemish nature through the work in the more than 200 study working groups and observations.be. In this way we provide the scientific basis for the government's nature policy.

Open job solicitation

Nature organizations often have lots of work to do for which no vacancy is filed. Consider sending an open solicitation to show your interest in the cause and to learn about available opportunities.

Nature organizations love to hear from you!
