Nature Network Municipalities

Natuurnetwerk Gemeenten

Due to the disappearance of the Bosschap in 2013, the municipalities no longer had a voice in the national discussions about professional site management and everything that comes with it. That is why the municipalities of Nunspeet and Venray, two municipalities with a large ownership of forest and nature areas, set up the Nature Network Municipalities in the autumn of 2015. With the establishment of the Nature Network Municipalities and becoming a member of the VBNE, there is again a specific municipal sound possible. Within the Nature Network for Municipalities and with other terrain managers within the VBNE context, municipalities can learn a lot from each other in the field of innovations in forest management, the deployment of volunteers in management, enforcement, training, specific municipal policy on forest ownership and management and many other matters.

Open job solicitation

Nature organizations often have lots of work to do for which no vacancy is filed. Consider sending an open solicitation to show your interest in the cause and to learn about available opportunities.

Nature organizations love to hear from you!
