The Swiss Alliance Gentechfrei SAG sees itself as a critical forum on questions of genetic engineering. It is a platform for discussion, information and action for organizations and individual members who are critical of genetic engineering. Today, the SAG acts as the umbrella organization for around 25 Swiss associations from the fields of environment, nature conservation, animal welfare, medicine, development cooperation, organic farming and consumer protection.
